Laboratory Testing
Located in Beachwood, Ohio, the Master Builders Solutions’ concrete laboratory is the largest private concrete lab in North America and is AASHTO accredited and ISO 9001:2015 certified to perform 57 ASTM test methods. Our state-of-the-art testing equipment, coupled with our expertise, assists concrete producers with concrete issues, qualification of concrete mixes and concrete mixture optimization. The lab also provides material evaluations to determine how changes to materials will affect mixture designs and concrete performance. View some of our test method videos.
Waterproofing Tests
Both hydrostatic (pressure) and non-hydrostatic (no pressure) tests are used to evaluate the performance of permeability-reducing admixtures. The most commonly used tests are summarized here:
